The vacuuming technique differs from that used in chamber machines. In the manual cycle mode, the operator first positions the bag correctly on the height-adjustable tray. Next, they press a manual button to lower the nozzle into the bag, then activate a handheld pneumatic switch that causes rubber jaws to clamp onto the bag opening—preventing airflow between the bag's interior and exterior—and finally press the cycle start button. This triggers the vacuum (or gas flush) and sealing cycle, resulting in a sealed bag containing the desired internal atmosphere.
With the automatic cycle option, the lowering of the nozzle, the closing of the rubber jaws, and the vacuum (gas) and sealing cycle are performed in sequence after pressing a single button.
Compared to the previous RVB-700 VG version, the RVB-700 VGT includes the following standard improvements:
- Intuitive 7” color touchscreen with instructions and fault self-diagnosis.
- Includes 3 languages (Spanish, French, English) and multiple user levels.
- Ability to save up to 9 work programs.
- Batch counter.
The RVB-700 VGT model also offers the following options:
- Gas purge system: Removes residual gas from the nozzle; essential when working with toxic gases.
- Dual nozzle: Allows for faster and more efficient air extraction from inside the bag.
- Full sealing-jaw protection with safety barriers: Some clients require this additional safety system (optional).
- Additional protection via safety barriers.
- Manual or automatic cycle.
Application example: The RVB-700 VGT was originally designed for packaging cork stoppers with sulfur dioxide gas. Today, it is commonly found in other sectors: 5/10 kg bags of nuts for export, meat, fruit, legumes, filters, components, textiles, additives, etc.
